2D Artwork
The referred 2D artwork to the left, are those of the drawing and digital art media. Most of these were completed within my art classes at school, though others are from this year that were used in my course or done in my free time.
The images which portray two girls, or one of the two girls, were apart of a series I completed for a project last year based upon what goes on inside our heads and what we show to the world. The images, one showing part of a London street and the other of deer's, are both snip-its of two large drawings that convey the storyline of what the world would look like if the human race vanished and nature was given the chance to reclaim its world. The first three drawings, (two drawings and a view of both) were both used towards an assessment piece for my course and were later redone and touched up. The two images containing the violin and the other with the elephants are all part of mixed media experimentation. Here I took photographs of the violin and elephant key-chain then drew them as I referred back to the photo then after going over the drawing with different medias in order to display different patterns and textures to the images. The last three digital pieces are part of a series of their own which depict a dreamworld like state or, at the time, what I believed to be a subjective reality. |
2D Animations
|
|
These two examples of 2D animation were both used as part of an assessment to create a showreel using the in-class exercises while learning the 12 principles of animation. The first example, where a heart is getting ripped apart then eaten( I know it's a bit of a freaky concept) was done using the inbetweening method, while the second example, where a man watches a bid fly out of his hand as he drops his paintbrush, was made using straight-a-head.
3D Modelling
|
One example of a 3D model is of a grand piano I had do do for assessment in my course. In the video, the piano is displayed in three different views, the clay, the wireframe and the textured.
The second example is a (headless) model of the Futurama character Kif, who is a little green alien sidekick. He was made for a group project for my course. In this example he is displayed with the wireframe. |
